HerSpace are the first service in Australia specialising in wellbeing and mental health recovery for women who have experienced exploitation in Australia.
HerSpace is a not-for-profit organisation offering free wellbeing and mental health recovery services to women survivors (16yrs and over) of exploitation in Australia. Exploitation (also known as modern slavery) includes all forms of sexual exploitation, human trafficking, slavery, servitude, forced labour, debt bondage, deceptive recruitment for labour and forced marriage.

The Impact…
TFN funding has empowered HerSpace to accept 34 more women survivors into their program. Women impacted by the trauma of modern slavery were able to begin their healing journey, accessing trauma-recovery support from a service that understands the extensive and devastating impacts of modern slavery on the lives of survivors.
