The 4 Aussie Heroes Foundation exists to aid, support, and serve first responder and military personnel past and present, who are struggling with PTSD and related mental health issues, as a result of serving our communities and our Nation. 4 Aussie Heroes Foundation is committed to motivating and equipping this demographic with the skills they need to take an active role in their recovery.

2021 Pitch

Funds Raised: $34,200

Gerry pitched at the TFN Live event in Brisbane to support the facilitation of the innovative holistic, 11 day, live-in, rehab Programs called "Triumph over Trauma" and the related 3 day live-in "Refresh" Program. Gerry is a former military personnel himself, serving for a year in Vietnam as 2nd Lieutenant so he is very close to the cause.

The Impact

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the TFN network, 51 Aussie heroes were able to attend the life changing 'Triumph over Trauma' programs. The impact of these programs was profound, one participant wrote to Gerry expressing, "I am not ashamed to say that things were really tough for me leading up to my attendance at ‘Triumph over Trauma’ so much so that I found myself in serious contemplation about taking my own life. You, Gerry and Katrina without doubt, through your Program, saved my life!"
