every week. The Brainchild Foundation provides crucial and ongoing support to these families.
Brainchild Foundation’s mission is to provide critical grassroots assistance to families of children with a brain or spinal cord tumour. The foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of affected families through financial, emotional and educational support. On a wider front, it supports targeted paediatric research into these debilitating diseases, striving for a cure for future generations.
2021 Pitch
Funds Raised: $37,460
Vonnie, a retired oncology nurse pitched at the live event in Brisbane for funding to extend the Brainchild Foundations ‘Better Tomorrows Program’'. With the funds raised the program will now provide young people aged 0-24 with Allied Health support necessary for them to reach their full potential.
The Impact
Over the past 12 months BrainChild Foundation have been busy as the demand for support grows from education to psychological counselling, physiotherapy, speech therapy and beyond. The funds raised at TFN Live Brisbane have been able to provide this crucial and holisitc support to 24 kids across Australia.
