Rural Outreach Counselling is a local Wagga Wagga based mental health charity that offers a range of supports in the local and neighboring communities.
Rural Outreach Counselling focuses on prevention and early intervention work. They have fully qualified counselors who are able to travel to offer support and sessions to clients outside of the normal clinical office environments.

Funds Raised: $14,000
Rural Outreach Counselling pitched for funding for support of a new project ‘Movies with Mates’. A community engagement program designed to bring communities together, outside of crisis. They will put the funding toward purchasing a large inflatable movie screen, the portable movie cinema will mean they can put on free movie nights in Wagga and surrounding areas.
The Impact…
The funding enabled the purchase of a mobile outdoor cinema system, delivering community movie events to 300 people across regional towns.
