Ronald McDonald House South West NSW provide fee free accommodation for families with sick or injured children and Mothers with high-risk pregnancy.

RMHC offers more than a place to sleep, the House and Family Room are carefully designed to give families a home like environment that helps them feel more supported, less stressed and better able to cope and support their sick child.

2024 Pitch

Funds Raised: $17,360

RMHC pitched for support to assist with bathrooms renovations, which haven’t been renovated for about 20 years and have been causing issues. They have over 150 families stay at the house each year so these funds will impact many.

The Impact…

The funding helped renovate one of three heavily used guest bathrooms, directly supporting 50 families during their stay.
Beneficiary story: “A newly arrived family from Narrandera facing a high-risk pregnancy and no nearby support was given accommodation through Ronald McDonald House. “They not only provided us with food and shelter, but made us feel like we had a family here. We are truly thankful.”
