Consent Labs

Consent Labs is a not-for-profit providing youth-led and evidence-based consent and respectful relationships education.

Consent Labs’ mission is to reduce the devastatingly high rates of sexual violence experienced by young people. Consent Labs offers a range of age and stage appropriate programs that equip students – in both schools and universities – with the skills to navigate relationships safely and respectfully. Our preventative approach is grounded in global best practices research, and is endorsed by Australian industry experts.

2024 Pitch

Funds Raised: $50,400

Angelique pitched for funding to support their expansion into regional and rural schools. The funds raised means they can heavily subsidise the program cost and the entirety of travel costs for the schools where financial resources has previously meant they are unable to access programs such as Consent Labs.

The Impact…

Consent Labs have used this funding to deliver 6 consent and respectful relationships workshops to schools in regional and rural NSW so far. These workshops have supported 215 young people.

Beneficiary story: From a teacher at one of the rural schools. “We were incredibly lucky to be able to engage with Consent Labs. As a small, rural school, getting external providers can be really difficult, but having specialist programs and talented presenters is so powerful! Without the funding this wouldn’t have been possible.”
