4 Voices helps girls and women find their voice. The organisation runs an outreach service that helps to reduce social and digital isolation, domestic and family violence, and homelessness through the power of connection.
2022 Pitch
Funds Raised: $32,000
Jo pitched for funding to expand 4 Voices “Building Hope” campaign, a new van/connection hub that will extend 4 Voices outreach service providing free social and digital support to people in need.
The Impact…
4 voices have been able to build and launch Hope, a mobile connection service that helps connect vulnerable girls and women and now goes weekly to 10 different locations around Brisbane. On average they support 150 people each week with their service. Having the second van has allowed them to double their impact in Brisbane from the previous year.

2024 Pitch
Funds Raised: $35,980
4Voices pitched for funding at the Equity and Inclusion event in Sydney to raise funds to support their ‘Change can start with a Cuppa’ program. Their outreach van (Snowflake) operates in 8 locations near the CBD. Residents of local social housing units struggle will access their social and digital support to improve their lives.
The Impact
The funding enabled twice-weekly outreach shifts in Waterloo, Sydney, offering social, emotional, and practical support to over 250 individuals living in public housing under distressing conditions.
Beneficiary story:
A mother from Albania with three young children, living in a dangerous and mouldy high-rise, was supported by 4 Voices volunteers to successfully advocate for a safer home. The family, previously trapped in unsafe conditions and struggling with language barriers, are now in a better neighbourhood with improved wellbeing.
