Stationery Aid
Stationery Aid collects surplus stationery and redistributes it to children and young people experiencing financial hardship, while engaging youth volunteers to build skills and reduce waste.
Stationery Aid is a Queensland-based charity that improves educational equity and reduces waste by redirecting unused school supplies to students who need them most. It collects new and gently used stationery that would otherwise be discarded, quality-checks and repacks it into ready-to-use kits, then distributes these supplies through community and school partners to families experiencing financial hardship. Stationery Aid also partners with schools to run student volunteering programs where young people help prepare kits for their peers, building empathy, leadership and practical skills through hands-on service. By combining immediate practical support with a circular approach to reuse, Stationery Aid helps more young people start school equipped, included and ready to learn.
2026 Pitch
Funds Raised: $36,000
Stationery Aid pitched for support to strengthen and expand its school-based youth volunteering model by supporting a dedicated coordinator role to lead delivery across partner schools. This support will enable more young people to take part in hands-on volunteering that involves sorting, cleaning and assembling renewed stationery kits for disadvantaged students, while ensuring schools are well supported through logistics, training, mentorship and partnership coordination.
